He has more than 30 years of commercial banking acumen & expertise and specialises in strategic business solutions and services.
Emile brings a wealth of business expertise, knowledge and business coaching to a significant network of business professionals who require a dedicated team to grow their business landscape.
Emile’s banking career spanned more than 30 years with tenures at ABSA Bank & Standard Bank respectively. Most of these engagements involved considerable time in managing banking portfolios of business customers.
During the academic phase of his career the notable achievements were obtained in management & banking degrees. There were several highlights including distinctions in economics, sales management & credit risk assessment.
The above also included, inter alia, accreditation for FAIS (Deposits): Fit & Proper as well as FAIS RE1 (05) exams.
In 2005 he headed up the BEE unit of Standard Bank [WC] where many customers were assisted through the BBBEE initiatives including indemnity-backed finance schemes, contract finance and leveraged finance.
Emile was the author of the credit paper resulting in approval and financing of first grassroots BBBEE taxi-owned scheme within Western Cape in liquid petroleum industry (in collaboration with Indemnity backed finance).
As the business strategist for Blue Horizon Consulting, Emile will, with the collaboration of business executives and partners, provide a business portal of expertise and networks to create value for our business customers.
